The problem
Western CPA Professional Corporation ran its files on Zoho WorkDrive and a great deal of email attachments. Client documents were scattered, access rights were hard to see, and the owner was not comfortable with how sensitive tax files moved around. The firm wanted to move to Microsoft 365 during the working season without interrupting staff, give clients a secure way to exchange documents, and be able to check and control who sees what without outside help.
What was built
GaganAI migrated the complete document library to SharePoint and OneDrive, re-syncing repeatedly during the transition so staff always worked from current files. Each office got a branded site, with a home site tying them together. A client portal was built on SharePoint: one secure page per client with one button per corporation, where clients upload to the firm and download what the firm delivers, and see nothing that is not theirs. Clients cannot delete the firm's documents. Every portal received a short link on the firm's own domain. The engagement closed with a written access guide, a step-by-step recipe for adding clients, a narrated video walkthrough, and training for the owner.

Why it matters for AI
This project was a Microsoft 365 and SharePoint modernization, not an AI deployment. That is the point. Secure data, modernized processes, controlled access and a trained team are what make AI adoption safe for a practice that handles client financial information. The firm now has that foundation, and the next phase, automation and AI assistance on top of well-structured data, can be planned with confidence.
“Gagan moved our entire accounting practice from Zoho to Microsoft 365 without a single day of disruption. He also built a secure, user-friendly client portal where every client has access only to their own information, with permissions that are easy for us to manage. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and commitment to protecting our client data. He documented everything, trained our team, and made the entire transition seamless. We now have a secure, well-organized digital foundation that makes our day-to-day operations easier and positions us to adopt AI confidently in the future.”
