AI Opportunity & Readiness Assessment
A 2–3 week structured assessment of where AI creates real value in your organization, whether you can implement it safely, and the plan to get from here to production — delivered by a consultant with 20+ years inside Canadian financial services, not a questionnaire portal.
What you receive
Evidence-based, not impression-based.
AI Readiness Score, evidenced
Your organization scored 0–100 across the ten dimensions, with every finding classified by evidence strength — confirmed, self-reported, or unknown. No guesses presented as facts.
Prioritized opportunity portfolio
5–10 AI opportunities discovered from your actual pain points, scored deterministically for value, feasibility, and risk — with production gates that stop a high-scoring idea from shipping without the controls it needs.
90-day plan and 12-month roadmap
What to do in the next 30, 60, and 90 days — governance first, pilot second, scale only when earned — plus the year-view from foundation to optimization.
Board-grade executive report
A written assessment your executive committee and board can act on: scorecard, critical findings, risk and governance analysis, five recommendations, and an honest assumptions-and-limitations section.
The GaganAI 10-dimension model
Every dimension scored. Nothing hidden by an average.
Weighted scoring aligned to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, with one hard rule: a strong overall score never hides a critical gap. Weak governance surfaces beside the number, not beneath it.

Engagement shape
2–3 weeks, fixed price.
- Week 1: stakeholder interviews across four tracks — senior leadership, business & operations, technology, risk & compliance — plus evidence review.
- Week 2: scoring, opportunity discovery, risk gating, and the written assessment.
- Week 3: executive debrief and the 30-day check-in booked before we finish.
Fixed fee of CAD $6,500–9,500 by organization size (USD equivalent for US organizations) — 50% to begin, 50% on delivery. Analysis is performed on secured local infrastructure; a written Data Handling & AI Safety Summary is part of every engagement.
Honest boundaries
This is an advisory assessment of how your organization can adopt AI safely — it is not a security audit, penetration test, compliance attestation, or legal opinion. Where specialist assurance is needed, the report says so and I refer out. Every finding is labeled by evidence strength, and unknowns are recorded as unknowns.
Running an advisory practice of 1–30 people? The $500 AI Readiness & Safety Review applies the same methodology at practice scale — credited toward any project.
Start with a 30-minute scoping call.
We'll establish whether the assessment fits your organization — and if it doesn't, I'll tell you that on the call.
