Basic — $400/mo
Hosting, updates, monitoring, backups, and support. Things stay working, and someone who knows how it was built picks up the phone.
Plus — $700–900/mo
Everything in Basic, plus one improvement built every month, priority response, and an annual policy refresh. This is the plan below.
Four months at Meridian Financial Planning
Month 1 — April
- Kept running
- Hosting, updates, backups, uptime monitoring. Two dependency updates applied.
- This month's improvement
- Intake chat was answering “what are your fees?” too vaguely and losing people. Rewrote that answer and added a booking prompt behind it.
- What changed
- Bookings from the site went from 3 to 7 that month.
Month 2 — May
- Kept running
- Routine maintenance. One broken link fixed, reported by Sandra on a Tuesday, live by Wednesday.
- This month's improvement
- Added an automatic reminder email 24 hours before every booked meeting, using the details already captured at booking.
- What changed
- No-shows dropped from roughly one in five to one in twelve.
Month 3 — June
- Kept running
- Maintenance. Quarterly check that the approved AI tools still have training-data sharing disabled.
- This month's improvement
- Onboarding automation now handles the joint-account case, which had been falling back to manual entry since launch.
- What changed
- Manual onboarding exceptions went from about 4 a month to zero.
Month 4 — July
- Kept running
- Maintenance. Two staff added to the tool inventory after a hire.
- This month's improvement
- New starter walked through the AI policy; acknowledgement signed and filed. Annual policy refresh scheduled.
- What changed
- Policy stayed current instead of quietly going stale.
How it works
- You pick the improvement. I send a short list of what I'd suggest at the start of each month; you choose, or name something else entirely.
- Small enough to finish. Each month's improvement is scoped to something that ships inside the month. Bigger work is quoted as a separate fixed-price project.
- Cancel any time, with 30 days' notice. You keep everything — code, content, accounts, data — because you already own it.
- Unused months don't roll over. Said plainly so it isn't a surprise: if you skip a month's improvement, it doesn't bank.
The honest version: if your site is a simple brochure and nothing is automated, Basic is probably all you need — and I'll tell you that rather than sell you Plus. The Plus plan earns its money once there is an automation running that a real process depends on.
